Making a name for oneself while pursuing a passion is inevitable when it’s been fostered for a lifetime, just ask Alonna DeVille. The Chicago, Illinois native attributes her flair for music to raised in church and list Karen Clark among her inspirations. From a very early age Alonna D was drawn to music and though its been no walk in the park, the multitalented singer/rapper is definitely creating a buzz around herself.
Since 2011, Deville has had several successful musical endeavors, including the popular single “Stillettos”, which appeared on the mixtape “DeVille a Kill a Track”. That effort earned her a nomination for best female rapper at the First Annual Hip Hop Awards. Following her nomination, DeVille gained attention for her animated and exciting performances across the greater Chicagoland area.
Not solely a performer, Alonna D has also hosted events, including Club Karma’s “Who Hotter Den Us” competition. She’s been featured in “In the Streetz” magazine and has been involved in several philanthropic efforts.
More recently she was nominated for both The Chicago Music Awards and The Midwest Urban Music Awards.
