Everyone celebrates freedom differently, Jino celebrates through music. The Chicago area rapper recently returned home from jail and to celebrate he released the video for his single “Stupid.”

The 21 year old rapper, who simply describes his sound as unfiltered, has been rhyming for five years and all of his lyrics are based on his own life experiences. According to Jino, “…a lot of these people need to know what’s really going on out here. I’ve been through a lot. I will never rap shit I don’t go through or did I rap real shit so I feel like the streets can relate to my music.”

Though, Jino has worked with notable names in Chicago, G Herbo is the Chicago native he considers inspiration. Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti were also mentioned when Jino was asked who inspires him.
