It’s been said that music is a universal and same has been said about smoking pot. It only makes sense that some one would make a song about getting stoned. Pre Dolla executed the undertaking in a way only he could.

A song that’s likely to cross cultures deserves an equally as uniting visual. Pre Dolla filmed his “Exotic Trees” video in Las Vegas, Nevada and it could not have been more befitting. The perfect double entendre, the “Exotic Trees” visual features a ton of palm trees.

SRT Kazzy – Astronaut

SRT Kazzy is a success story, if one was ever told. Diagnosed with cancer as a child, Kazzy learned perseverance early on. After beating the disease, equipped with a new lease on life Kazzy found his calling in music.

SRT Kazzy’s sound is just as unique as his story. The Chicagoan combines animated lyrics, melodies,and drill inspiration in a way only he can. His breakout single “Astronaut” is evidence.

Catchy, but not repetitive “Astronaut” is almost hypnotic. The visual is inundated with space references, including aliens.

In an era full people competing to see which gender can care less, it’s nice to hear people celebrate one another. That’s the route Heir Jordan takes with “Financial Aid.”

The Paterson, New Jersey native took a note from the iconic New Orleans bounce scene, sampling Magnolia Shorty’s “Smoking Gun.” “Financial Aid” is a fun, uptempo track sure to make any woman working hard to be successful feel good. Heir Jordan proclaims that his woman has it all figured out: she takes care of herself, so he takes care of her.

Bedtime is a completey rnb mixtape hosted by I Am DJ Speedy and featuring some of the dopest rnb acts from the city. Bedtime is 16 tracks of some the sexiest and most soulful voices in Chicago. Bedtime opens with an introduction recorded by MicJaay. Aye’Ziz, Audrey Valentine, XR, and D Millz all contributed their talents to Bedtime and represented Chicago in the best possible way.
