Nique Robinson Says What He Feels

According to Nique Robinson, his new EP Say What You Feel is based on his experiences with love and his perspective on telling the truth.

At just under 11 minutes, some would describe Say What You Feel as a masterpiece of minimalism. Nique Robinson delivered fours tracks of transparency, addressing some relationship issues that the masculine nature of hip hop seems to ignore.

Nique Robinson – Paint

After a name change and embarking on his journey through fatherhood, Nique Robinson debuted his new EP Paint.

Paint is a four track EP dedicated to the fans Nique Robinson started with. Paint is Robinson’s first project since 2017. Released with the hope that fans will recognize his growth, Paint is nearly eleven minutes of Nique Robinson’s best.

Known for his positive lyrics, Nique Robinson stays true to his roots with Paint. Savior establishes Robinson’s confidence in himself as a leader. Black depicts Robinson’s pride in his heritage and color of his skin. Fire is a love song of sorts. Vice is a tale of Robinson’s weakness.

Nique Robinson’s Beautiful Thing

At a time when it seems like rap music could not be more depressing, Nique Robinson is offering something different. The Illinois based lyricist recently premiered his latest single “Beautiful Thing.”

Perfectly entitled, “Beautiful Thing” takes a more positive approach to life. According to Nique Robinson the song is about “finding the beauty in the struggle of being an aspiring artist and life itself.”

Undoubtedly, such positivity is a breath of fresh air in a hip hop climate downtrodden by the woes of depression and drug use.
