The Boy Illinois Introduces Windy

Today, Chicago native and Priority Records recording artist The Boy Illinois premiered his latest offering Windy.

Though the rapper recently celebrated making Priority Records his musical home, Windy was released under the Born Leaders imprint. The nine track effort is just shy of half an hour long, but it’s a whole ode to the city Illi calls home.

Windy not only features some of The Boy Illinois’ best work, but some work from some other notable Chicagoans as well. Saba, YP and Rico Recklezz are among Windy’s features.

Recklezz Conduct II: B4 Big Recklezz

Over the weekend Rico Recklezz debuted his highly anticipated new project RecklezzConduct II: B4 Big Recklezz.

The sequel to 2012’s Recklezz Conduct, is a 14 track offering of the Chicago native’s very best. The same Rico Recklezz fans have grown to know and love, but better, Big Recklezz reestablishes himself as a pillar in drill rap with this tape. And not a moment too soon as a rival rapper recently debuted his very own diss track aimed at Rico Recklezz.

Recklezz Conduct II is hosted by DJ Cortez and DJ Mil Ticket. Though Rico Recklezz put his own lyrical capabilities, it wasn’t without the assistance of some lyrically skilled associates. Asian Doll, Il Will and KD Da Trappa, were among those who contributed vocal talents to Recklezz Conduct II, while the production list provides credit to Ron Ron The Producer, Llama Kids and DJ Mil Ticket among others.
