The Messiah is no new comer to hip hop. But in the last year his loyal fan base has grown leaps and bounds and it looks like the Chicagoan may soon become a household name. His most recent visual “White Cups” is pretty evident of why The Messiah is gaining so much success.

“White Cups” is the definitive representation of sex, drugs, and rock and roll so to speak. The Messiah teamed up with Will Mass to capture the lifestyle of a popping rapper in less than two and a half minutes. Despite the length of the visual or lack there of “White Cups” delivers all of the necessary elements for a rap video.

While it is debatable that Queen Envi’s performance makes it quite possible to watch “White Cups” without sound, the song is still pretty important. The Messiah delivers witty lyrics in an original cadence that keeps fans engaged. Despite being fun, “White Cups” is lyrically interesting and real hip hop.
